Amphibians
Delv Ihoo has a wide range of various amphibian creatures that can be found in moist locations, rivers, swamps, and many other locations. It can range from frogs to toads and even salamanders. Aside from those there are still many more. Due to their size "most" are not generally on the menu of a Delvihen wolf. They have their own purpose in the eco-system and equally are eaten by smaller predatory animals. Similar to Delvihen wolves few among them have developed more than others within their family group. Delvihen wolves are sometimes unsure if they should label these creatures as elemental or not. While Poison wolves whom naturally evolved from regular wolves gained powers which allow them to use venom, many ancestors of these amphibians had such abilities and capabilities naturally. Therefore most are not listen by Delvihen wolves as elemental unless they stand out enough or have a huge physical change such as the "Kroktoad".
Creature:Muddy newt / Class:Amphibians / Power:None / Diet:Insectivore / Family:Salamandridae / Lifespan:1-22 / Status:common
Muddy newts are a common salamander found in the "Mudlands". They are small amphibians that live near the many muddy lakes and will spend most of their day covered and hidden underneath mud. They are insectivores and so will hunt for small bugs that reside above the mud or muddy water. Sometimes they will move onto land fully covered in mud and wait for smaller insects to land on top or nearby them, this way they can quickly strike and eat. They are docile creatures and tend to share their habitat with fellow muddy newts. Compared to females, males do stand out a little bit more with their vibrant markings on their backside, front legs and tail tip.

Creature:Murashi / Class:Amphibians / Power:None / Diet:Omnivore / Family:Ambystomatidae / Lifespan:1-30 / Status:Rare
Murashi's are a rather rare type of amphibian that resides in the poison forest. They can only be found near the lake of the poison forest, and possible streams nearby. They stand out due to their bright pale color which would make them an easy target, but attacking one can be quite dangerous. Wolves and animals alike have been confused about who of both genders is actually venomous. While the females and males look alike, the male has a very bright and colorful mouth which it will open to warn predatory animals. But surprisingly enough it's not the male that's venomous, but actually the female who has no bright and colorful mouth at all. Because of this animals have mistaken the male over and over again

for being poisonous while it are the females that are far more dangerous. When they bite, their teeth releases neurotoxins that are poisonous and destructive to the nerve tissue which in result can paralyze body parts permanently. Compared to the male the female is usually quite docile, but approaching to close will make her nervous and in return bite out of defense. The males on the other side are extremely aggressive and in a way bluff towards their opponents pretending to be venomous. This nature is seen again when they attempt to attract a mate, as males will fight sometimes till one dies. When approaching these little creatures they will spread out their external gill stalks, and shake their tail in order to warn their possible attacker. When moving around they are often confused with snakes, as they seem to move around more snake like due to their small legs. They live solitary but will come together and pairbond when nesting to raise their young. Females will dig deep holes until it's moist enough to lay her eggs. Males will then guard the nest until the young hatch in about 5 weeks. When hatched the male will leave and the female will guard her young for about a month before leaving them to fend for themselves. They are a rare species as the success rate of a baby Murashi is very low. It's believed the largest ruling pack in the Poison Forest, defends them.

Creature:Swamp jumper / Class:Amphibian / Power:None / Diet:Carnivore / Family:Pipidae / Lifespan:1-15 / Status:Common
Swamp jumpers are fully aquatic meaning they spend most if not all of their time in the water. They have powerful back legs which allows them to swim quickly underwater. The reason that Delvihen wolves call them swamp jumpers is due to their method of escaping predatory animals. If chased they are known to randomly jump up to the surface of the water and make constant jumps into random directions until they shake their follower off. To young swamp wolves they are considered as candy. They live solitary but at night come together as they sing as a form of social interaction. They are carnivores and will eat small insects, fish, worms and more.

Creature:Swamp toad / Class:Amphibian / Power:None / Diet:Omnivore / Family:Bufonidae / Lifespan:1-12 / Status:Common
The swamp toad is a common creature seen in the Lamua Swamp. They are usually hiding in the more muddy areas of the swamp near swamp tree branches or stumps. They generally move slow and if threatened they will make a loud piercing sound as they scream. They are generally sitting around doing nearly nothing all day long. Swamp wolves tend to ignore them as it seems their skin is slightly toxic and leaves a rather foul taste in the mouth. They are omnivores as they will eat insects, worms and more. Other frog species have to be wary as they are known to swallow young frogs too. They live solitary and only come together to reproduce. Males will sing as loud as they can to attract a female.

Creature:Kroktoad / Class:Amphibian / Power:Elemental / Diet:Omnivore / Family:Bufonidae / Lifespan:1-50 / Status:Rare
Kroktoad is native to the Lamua Swamp only, which many wolves are grateful for. Being Delv Ihoo's largest toad, they are rather dangerous. They will generally not bother adult wolves, even so swamp wolves are known to hunt them on sight. While considered elemental due to the male's ability to release light from the dot shaped markings on his back spines, they are still considered dangerous. Their tongue upon touch can paralyze young wolves quickly, and giving this creature a bite is equally not recommend as their skin will release toxins. One of the main reasons that swamp wolves will hunt them is due to the threath they pose to young wolves and especially pups. The males are notorious for luring

young swamp wolves towards the water hoping their spine structures will confuse the pup into thinking is an adult swamp wolf instead. When close they will use their tongue to latch onto the unsuspecting victim swallowing them instantly. Because the tongue paralyzes young pups they are not capable of calling for help and equally not able to defend themselves. Of course the larger the wolf is the more troublesome it becomes. When wolves are young but to large to instantly consume they will use their sharp teeth and claws to damage the animal. Their tongue being split is ideal for grasping onto opponents. Females lacking these spines will simple remain at the surface of water waiting patiently like a crocodile to catch prey. Females are larger and when a male seeks a mate they have to be very cautious as females are known to cannibalize on males. Aside from this another reason why they are hunted on sight is due to a rare variation that can occur. Considered extremely rare, there is a version that is pitch black, features horns, sharper teeth and a spiked tongue. Their eyes are red and they feature 3 additional eyes as well. Being much larger than the regular Kroktoad and a lot more aggressive. As of now wolves know that they have only appeared at night time, and can spit actual fire. Swamp wolves believe it's a Kroktoad that's possessed by a demon. They believe the eyes features on the back belongs to the real demon. Wolves have tried to turn this beast into their summoning spirit, but so far it only resulted in regular Kroktoad spirits. These possessed toads are dangerous and will not hesitate to attack an adult either. Their screams are so loud that upon hearing it, swamp wolves will take cover.

Creature:Spotty swamp frog / Class:Amphibian / Power:Elemental / Diet:Insectivore / Family:Ranidae / Lifespan:1-6 / Status:Common
Spotty swamp frogs are common in the Lamua Swamp. They are elemental and are said to boost the growth of water plants and swamp trees. Because of this swamp wolves will even teach their young that they cannot be eaten not even as a snack. Even so for a pup it can happen quickly, if they spot such a little guy hopping around when they are young. The frogs themselves despite some incidents seem to not really fear swamp wolves. They do fear toads however. They spend their day hunting insects and hidden between swamp plants. They live in large collonies that will warn each other if danger is approaching. To attract mates they will sing during nighttime. The spots on their back are usually unique.

Creature:Veleno frog / Class:Amphibian / Power:None/ Diet:Insectivore / Family:Ranidae / Lifespan:1-9 / Status:Common
Native to the Poison Forest, Veleno frogs are quite common. They stand out due to their bright coloration. The spots on their back can differ from individual to individual with males generally having larger spots. Males are smaller than females but they do have a bright green dewlap which they can expand to attract mates. These frogs aren't deadly but nor are they pleasant. Their bodies release a substance similar to amygdalin, equally can they spit this substance. This can lead to cyanide poisoning, which in result can cause: headache, dizziness and seizures. Because of this, most animals will avoid them. To poison wolves this is no issue however due to their immunity to poison.
