Delv Ihoo
According to the legends, a long time ago Delv Ihoo was part of the mainland. But the Azure Dragon carved Delv Ihoo away into a large island that constantly moves. Some wolves even believe the island itself is alive. The Azure Dragon, Seiyru, selected several dragons who were to exist on this island, and who would cause stabilization, as the island itself knows no seasons yet thrives in nature. Wolves inhabiting this island are known as Delvihen wolves, a name granted to them by the dragons who knew them as “dragon wolves”. Delv Ihoo is considered “the land of dragon wolves” by the dragons.
Important Locations (click for bigger version)
Chaos Isle: Home to the Chaos species and it's dragon god "Midarai", this isle is connected underwater by earth and rock to the main land. Due to isolation many animals that live here have developed and evolved on their own way. Because the isle is separated from the mainland the only invasive species present are usually birds. Chaos wolves are not welcoming to strangers, in a sense this didn't only keep them safe but the wildlife as well. The isle is known for it's small mountain range, lakes, meadows and forests. The vegetation is plentiful, and most animals are known to thrive here. The apex predator on this isle are wolves of the chaos species, who live in a kingdom like structure.

Forester Woods: Home to the Forester species and it's dragon god “Erzainos”. These woods are plentiful in prey and fruits. The “Merchant Lands” were known to be Dyelaq clan territory where the Galia pack resided. The “Forester Hills” were known for public markets and trades. These forests are said to consist of various herbs that have medical purposes, and many different types of edible plants and fruits. It is said the dragon itself causes for additional growth to this forest. The habitat itself features smaller lakes and streams with a huge variety of trees and plants alike. Some of it's wildlife is known to feature plant like aspects, or even growth of plants on the body itself.

Canyon cliffs: Rivers cut through this rocky area. Some rock structures almost resemble small mountains. Wolves only travel through here. Not many wolves have ever been seen here.
Iron Forest: This forest is not inhabited by wolves due to its location. Similar to Canyon Cliffs, wolves only ever pass through here. But, since this forest is locked between mountains and the Ruins, it is often forgotten. Prey is plentiful since the animals are not hunted by wolves. It was named “Iron Forest” due to its resilience against elemental energy.
Cosmic Valley: Known as the birthplace of the dragon Goddess “Asteria”, the cosmic species originated from here. It is one of the most unique locations to behold on Delv Ihoo. Surrounded by mountains, the vegetation and colors are stunning; many plants and even animals are luminous or have the capability to shine. The lake located in the center is known for a myriad of colors, and many wolves wish to visit simply to see it with their own eyes. Legend says that the dragon herself sleeps within this lake. The territory is guarded by Cosmic Wolves, as they will not tolerate any disturbance to the nature that has grown here.
Ruins: The Ruins used to be connected to “Ombrai Valley”, as it was once filled with trees. But only recently, it was turned into nothing but ruins. It is believed that a cult lived there, who worshiped the realm of Relaytra.
Ombrai Valley: Known as the birthplace of Shadow wolves, it is said that the dragon God “Ombraisias” himself lurks somewhere in these lands. But unlike other dragons, he was known to be hostile to wolves. The Lunar Pack of the Dyelaq society inhabited Ombrai Valley. The “Lake of Veodar” is a location psychic wolves would seek out as it is rich in fossils. The area is known to have crystal clear lakes, inhabited by rare creatures. It is said a cave located somewhere in the valley holds some of the most precious crystals and azure stones.
Spirit Lands: Home of the Spirit Species and their dragon Goddess “Kamisa”. This location is considered beautiful by those who visit it. Various plants generate particles of shining dust, making the forest feel enchanted. A deep fog blankets the area in the early mornings, transforming what was once enchanted into a silent place. Some of the Dyelaq clans once lived in this area. Over time, Spirit Wolves began to abandon their homeland due to the threat the Shadow Clans posed. Despite most wolves keeping their distance from the Dyelaq society, Spirit Wolves generally had no problems with the Water Wolves inhabiting “Kamisa Lake”.
Lamua Swamp: The birthplace of Swamp Wolves and their dragon God “Lemulg”. This territory is not popular, except for Swamp and Poison Wolves; other species easily find themselves lost or in trouble. The swamps are deceiving, as the water varies between either shallow or extremely deep.
Sygly Valley: This valley rests within the mountains, which acts like a wall protecting it from the outside. Flourishing with life, it was the territory of a pack of Forester Wolves for centuries, but the mountains and easy access to prey attracted a pack of Fire Wolves to live there as well. The territory has been fought over for generations, but in time the two packs became the first not associated with the Dyelaq Clans to mix packs.
Koru Forest: Forester Wolves will avoid it, as the forest is extremely cold. Not many wolves will travel through it because prey is scarce. Known as the coldest forest on Delv Ihoo, it is the only location that provides a safe path to the “Ice Lands”. Known for its thin trees and vegetation adapted to the cold, it is equally famous for its small hot springs. One of the packs that resides here will offer visitors to bathe in the hot springs. At night, this location is dangerous due to the activity of the Wolf Bird’s variant. A famous rock known as the “Howling Rock” is a unique structure shaped like a wolf. It is visited by wolves during the day but avoided at night, due to predatory animals such as Wolf Birds or bears frequenting the area. The “Howling River” runs all the way from the Koru Forest through the Howling Rock. Wolves use this river to navigate towards the Howling Rock.
Poison forest: The Poison Forest is the birthplace of the poison species and their dragon God “Velok”. This territory is considered off limits as Poison Wolves are extremely hostile, and if it isn’t the Poison Wolves, the animals that live there are very dangerous. Over the years, the entire forest turned purple, and even the lakes changed color. While the water is not poisonous, travelers don’t dare drink from it due to the color. Although this forest is often avoided by strangers, some wolves cannot help themselves but to view the unique vegetation. Some will dare to venture into the forest simply to retrieve items or foods that can only be found here. It is said some wolves will offer a lot for some specific creatures found here.
Sand Plains: This area is known for its huge plains of sand. Wolves will often refer to it as a “small desert”. This area is known to be inhabited by wolves of the Sand species. Many left the desert as the plains offered more than a desert ever could.
Cetora Hills: Known as the “Forest of Wolves”, it is inhabited by smaller packs of merchants. Some of the packs offer their services to aid travelers or to heal them if needed. It is generally a calm and friendly area, as many wolves travel through here. Though with the arrival of the Shadow Clans, wolves are more wary. Wolves of these Clans will often keep an eye on possible targets that travel through this area. This place is often referred to as the Cetora Hills or Forest.
Oard Lake / Oard Meadow: Oard stands for “three” according to the language of the gods. This area was named after the three lakes and three neighboring forests, the “Koru Forest”, “Poison Forest” and the “Cetora Hills” which is often viewed as a forest as well. Many deer are said to live here.
Ice Lands: Known as the birthplace of Ice Wolves and their dragon God “Yutoshu”, these lands are covered in eternal snow. These lands weren’t always as cold as they are today. The birth of the Ice dragon coated these lands in ice and snow. The only safe way to these lands is through a mountain path that can be found at the edge of Koru Forest. It is common for Ice Wolves to guard this pass, as many wolves who wander in tend to not return. Because of this, Ice Wolves work together with a feline species known as “Neraions” to guide visitors. They will never allow travelers to pass during night, due to the dangers of the Wolf Bird variant.
Frozen / Snowy plains: It is known that many wolves will travel long distances just to see these landscapes, as snow is unusual to most wolves. Wolves will visit under the guidance of Neraions or Ice Wolves. It is common for wolves who avoid the path and sneak in to be found dead, as finding shelter can be tricky. One of the largest packs of Ice Wolves offers free shelter that is warm and cozy. The majority of wolves will avoid these lands altogether. This area is known for its sparse vegetation, but gorgeous rivers and plains.
Snowy Mountains: The Snowy Mountains, otherwise known as the “Mountains of Death”, has claimed the lives of both wolves and other animals. Many who avoid the safe path will fall to their doom, and it’s not uncommon for animals to accidentally plummet from the high cliffs. Even if one safely gets down, it is a maze of rocks and cold snow with little to no shelter. Ice Wolves warn outsiders of this. Additionally at night, predatory animals even look for unfortunate wolves.
Icy Coast: This area is rarely seen by outsiders, as the temperatures can drop heavily here. This area is known as a common hunting ground for Ice Wolves. The coast is the breeding grounds of the Koyagi, a type of small deer. Ice Wolves are known to hunt baby calves of the Seirus, though most avoid hunting them due to their aggressive and protective parents. The coast is almost completely filled with the Seirus, as they are known to stick together in a huge herd.
Forbidden Woods: A hostile territory avoided by all. Wolves are unsure what happens here, as those who go in never return. Packs around have often tried to convince the Hero Clans to investigate, but as of now they have not taken the time to do so. Wolves will warn strangers to avoid this forest.
Hayyo Mountains: These mountains are a favorite location for Wind Wolves, as it is very safe to raise their young. Wind Wolves make it their home. Nearby it, a “Hidden Valley” is present. It is said the Dyelaq society had at least two packs living in this area. Strangers usually avoid traveling through these mountains as it is easy to get lost. It is believed that some wind wolves in the old days brought over species from their homeland as well which resulted in some animals living in both area's.
Lone Mountain/hills: Known for being a rather tall and lone mountain, it attracts wolves who wish to travel to its peak. The peak provides an overview of the desert and more. No packs are known to live on the mountain. The Lone Hills are known as a hunting territory for the survivors of the Dyelaq Clans.
Shroom Lake: Many believe the lake to be named “Shroom” due to its slight resemblance to a mushroom. The actual reason for its name is from the plentiful growth of many and different types of mushrooms. Wolves need knowledge to avoid the poisonous mushrooms that also grow here. Forester Wolves are often seen collecting various mushrooms to consume.
Tengelo Forest: Known otherwise as the “Forest of Angels”, the Tanlin Clans use it to host the well known “Tanlin Markets”. While these markets also take place within the Tanlin Falls, the Tengelo Forest was chosen as another ground for these markets in order to allow wolves of all sorts of species to visit. The Forest was called “Angel Forest” by the Tanlin Clans, as Tengelo stands for “angel” in the god language.
Karuto Falls: Wolves are unsure what to think of these lands: hostile or neutral. It is known to be the homeland of a cult of wolves. This society has grown within the years and is known to be extremely religious. While every species has its own god to treasure, it is believed that these wolves worship yet another dragon, and that they even sacrifice wolves who have little respect for any of the dragon gods. Despite the fact that the gods themselves detest sacrifices, these wolves seem convinced otherwise. It is a beautiful territory, but most keep their distance from these wolves.
Karuto Beach / River: Viewed as a hostile territory, it is said that the beach is often guarded by wolves belonging to a cult. It is believed that the beach is a prime location to perform rituals known to include living sacrifices. While these wolves generally come off as friendly, their extreme beliefs are feared by those around. Because of this, not many packs dare living nearby. Flowing from Karuto Falls all the way towards the Lone Mountain, is a treasured river as it is a water source for many. The river was named after the cult. Wolves will use the river as a guide when traveling. The “River Hills” are considered safe from the cult.
Silent Meadow: Known as the Silent Meadow due to the cult residing in Karuto Falls. Wolves keep their distance from the cult, as packs who once lived nearby ended up missing wolves. The meadow is not inhabited by any wolves, as other wild animals see it as their home instead.
Shidaiu Lake: Known as a prehistoric lake, it became famous for the many fossils that were found there by both Earth and Psychic Wolves. Psychic Wolves especially are often found here due to their fascination for fossils. The name of the lake comes from the term “Shidaiu” which means prehistoric in the language of gods.
Metal Valley: The Metal Valley is known as the birthplace of the metal species and their dragon Goddess “Kizoka”. It is known as a hostile territory. Due to the constant attacks by the Shadow Clans, little to no metal trees remain. Because of this, the wolves who inhabit this territory became extremely hostile. Strangers will avoid this territory as metal wolves are known to kill intruders on sight. The valley is known for its waterfall and clear lakes. Sadly the unique trees it was once known for are almost non-existent within the territory.
Milagu Coast: This location is recognizable by the sharp rocks piercing out of the water. What many wolves aren’t aware of, is that wolves can actually stand there most of the time. Underneath the water, a lower plateau of earth is visible, with the sharp rocks being part of this plateau. During bad weather and heavy waves, this area becomes deadly. It is not uncommon for wolves to be dragged out to sea by tall waves, never to be seen again. Some areas have “wolfmade” coral reefs, as Water Wolves of the coral variation brought it to life, making it their home.
Desert: The desert is the birthplace of the Sand species and their dragon Goddess “Sameku”. Sand Wolves may call it their home, but most species avoid it. Wolves who try to cross the desert without a guide will often end up dead. The harsh conditions make it hard to survive. Aside from Sand Wolves, only Fire Wolves are capable of living here. Near the border of the desert, near the Lone Mountain, is the well known location of the “Slave Camp”, which is owned by the leader of the Shadow Clans. Surviving victims of the slaughter of the Dyelaq Clans are brought here for experimentation.
Ipaki Oasis: Known as the breeding grounds of the Ipaki, this place is heavily guarded by a nearby pack of Sand Wolves. These Sand Wolves have taken it upon themselves to protect this species of animal, as they are endangered and remain a favorite target of merchants. The oasis is one of the most beautiful locations in the desert.
Sanctuary: The Sanctuary is known as the hidden sanctuary of the survivors of the Dyelaq Clans. Wolves are unaware of the location — only those of the Dyelaq society know the location and how to enter this sanctuary. They guide themselves by the rock formation.

Yoguzan: This volcanic area is known as the birthplace of the Fire species and their dragon God “Kasaraf”. The dragons keeps the volcano active and alive. The name “Yoguzan” means “volcano” in the language of the gods. It is known for its hot springs and little to no vegetation. Visitors can only reach some of the hot springs, but most wolves cannot stand the heat and would die if they ventured deeper. Because of this, the packs of Fire Wolves who live here are generally safe from outsiders. Fire Wolves are immune to fire but will keep a safe distance from the volcano as they are not immune to lava.
Mudlands: The Mudlands are known as the birthplace of the Mud species and their Dragon God “Dorodys”. Most of the Mud species remains here. However, many have chosen to venture out as well. Sadly their population also suffered the judgement of the Shadow and Tanlin Clans. Many of the Mud species remain deep within this marsh-like area. Despite their treatment, many welcome visitors and even offer their hot springs and mud baths. Visitors are often guided by Mud Wolves as well, due to the environment being rather dangerous. Wolves with little knowledge might end up stuck or trapped if they are not careful where they step. The land is known for its various sources of insects that are consumed by Mud Wolves. The Sabodon also lurks here, and Mud Wolves will avoid this feline at all costs.
Lake of Sarezhal/Hot springs: Known as another treasured location for the Psychic Wolves, this lake and general area is known to house fossils of a prehistoric daglor known as Sarezhal. These prehistoric creatures were known for their crocodile-like appearance and sail. The Mudlands are known for the hot springs, as many visitors will stop to enjoy the soothing water.
Karashi Isle: The Karashi Isle is known as the birthplace of the Wind species and their dragon Goddess “Nephele.” Despite being the location of their origins, the isle became mostly inhabited by Coastwings and Swiftwings, as Summitwings desired solitude and Gladewings wanted thick forests. It is believed the current society is run as a kingdom similar to the Tanlin society. The isle is one of the safest locations, as threats are non-existent due to its isolated location. Some wind wolves will even return here to have offspring simply because it is safer.
Lake Daglor: This lake is also known and treasured as an important location for fossils. Many fossils of the prehistoric dagloren could be found here. The location is surrounded by a forest and a beautiful grassy meadow. Some packs live here as well.

Dyelaa Forest: The Dyelaa Forest is known as a hostile area claimed by wolves of the Shadow species who work for the Shadow Clans. While not the birthplace of their dragon, it is believed that long ago Shadow Wolves traveled from their birthplace carrying seeds and more. Back then, with the help of Forester Wolves, they managed to somewhat mimic their birthplace, as the once empty meadow became a gray forest. Previously, it was not a hostile territory at all.
Mountain of Nakraa: Extremely hostile, no wolf will dare tread close as those who did never returned. Home to the Shadow Clans, this area is deadly. A red mist and fog shrouds the area, as the mountains themselves seem almost red. Wolves often wonder what caused the mountains to be this way, but it is believed a forgotten species once lived here.
Delusional Woods: Known as one of the largest areas on Delv Ihoo, it is rather odd that no wolves are known to live here. Rumors speak of a species that once inhabited this area but went extinct. Wolves who managed to survive speak of the horrors of these lands. Wolves in packs grow delusional, as they begin to suspect things that aren’t true. They become hostile to one another. They are known to become sick and aggressive. Other than that, dangerous predators lurk in the shadows.
Lost Mountains: These mountains are located near the Mountain of Nakraa. Most wolves will avoid this area. Additionally, most wolves will not even be able to reach it, as the Shadow Clans guard the borders and live close to the Delusional Woods. Even so, they won’t venture into these mountains as getting lost there is easy.
Lost meadow/Woods: This area is not known to be inhabited by any wolf, not even the Shadow Clans. The meadows are covered in a mist that makes it nearly impossible to see far, which causes wolves to wander aimlessly in the meadows. This is the same for the Lost Woods. Most wolves get lost and suffer delusions and confusion.
Lake of Jikuma/Relaytra: Otherwise known as demonic or hellish lakes, wolves who survived speak of bones and bodies found in the water. For some reason, some wolves chose to commit suicide by drowning themselves. One survivor managed to tell about the horrors of seeing his whole pack drown themselves. Very little tales are told, as most wolves who enter are never found again.
Forgotten Isle: Known as a very small isle connected to the Delusional lands, it is unknown if anyone inhabits this isle. Most wolves never even reached the far side of the Delusional lands.
Lost Milagu: Similar to the Milagu coast, it seems that rocks jut out of the water, while a lower plateau rests underneath. It is said some Water Wolves dared to live here, only to turn completely unresponsive and feral.
Chyu Mountains: The Chyu Mountains are known as the birthplace of the Earth species and their dragon Goddess “Chyu”. The mountains form a wall and Earth Wolves live within them. Behind the mountain wall, a meadow is the home of many Earth Wolves who build dens and live peacefully. It is considered hostile as Earth Wolves do not allow strangers to enter their territory.
Otoma Springs: Known as the birthplace of the Water Species and their dragon Goddess "Lamuria", the water dragon resides within the largest lake. The Otoma pack has lived here for generations, sharing a close bond to Lamuria. Out of pride, they even named the nearby river after their Goddess. This area is known for its large lake and healthy vegetation. It is considered a neutral area as Water Wolves welcome strangers to visit their ancient caves.
Mirumu forest: The forest is always wet and moist, as many small streams run through it. This area is mostly inhabited by Water Wolves. These packs are separate from the Otoma pack that resides in the Otoma Springs.
Lamura River: Named after the dragon Goddess Lamuria, this river originates from Otoma Falls and flows through the Mirumu Forest. Water Wolves often swim here and hunt for fish or smaller mammals they can capture.

Otoma Reef: The Otoma Reef is opposite to the Otoma Springs, as it is also an underwater reef attached to the island. It is also inhabited by Water Wolves.
Toreiki Mountains/Forest: Otherwise known as the Illusion grounds, this area is home to the Psychic Wolves. While Psychic Wolves are not hostile, and welcome visitors, they expect any visitors to follow the right pass under the guidance of a Psychic Wolf. A pack lives on the border, guarding these grounds. They warn visitors to follow the rules, and those who do not will have the worst day possible. Psychic Wolves have placed so many traps and illusions that wolves will wander for seemingly forever, confused and lost. Then they’ll wake up back at the border pack, among the prisoners for the crime of trespassing. They will usually be released within a day, but they have been warned. However, there is a reason Psychic Wolves want visitors to follow the rules: many wolves are found dead simply because they got lost. Equally, the Psychic Wolves are guarding special animals within these lands.
Hakugon Mountain: Known as the area inhabited by the largest pack of Psychic Wolves, this mountain is heavily treasured. Within the mountain, Earth Wolves helped build structures which act as rooms and dens. The mountain was named Hakugon and serves as a museum. Psychic Wolves have placed fossils and constructions of dagloren and more to display for those who visit. They are extremely proud of their findings. Equally, the best healers are known to live here. Many wolves with serious injuries are said to be brought here for treatment.

Seishi Mountains: The Seishi Mountains are known as the birthplace of the Ghost species and their dragon God “Ryushu”. It is said to be the homeland of Ghost Wolves. It is believed Ghost Wolves have always been allied to the Dyelaq society and never existed outside of it. In time, these lands became forgotten and consumed by wildlife.
Ryushu Valley: Ghost Wolves were extremely loyal towards their dragon God. The God himself would often allow for the wolves to groom his fur. The valley was seen as the lands where Ghost Wolves settled. Ghost Wolves were generally not hostile.
