Boars
On Delv Ihoo several boar species roam the lands. They are in most cases highly aggressive and territorial. Being large and physically powerful wolves will always be wary around them. Even so they are a common food source to wolf packs if they live within the same area. Boars have been notorious for killing wolves too however, as they generally are omnivores meat too is on their menu as well. They are commonly known for digging up mushroom and young roots, it is believed if not hunted by wolves that they could cause quite some damage to the eco system.

Spirit boars are native only to the Spirit lands. They prefer to stick to the thick forests as they look for food. They are really large and therefore a preferred meal for Spirit wolves or other species of wolf that live within their habitat. Even so hunting them does not come without risk. They are highly aggressive and tend to attack on sight. This has led to wolves being attacked if they failed to notice them on time. They are very territorial and opportunistic feeders. While generally they will seek for roots, nuts, berries and plants, if given the opportunity they will consume eggs and meat as well. A wolf that died hunting them, would be seen as a meal to them. boars are known to dig for rare mushrooms which many healers seek for their remedies. Spirit boars have noses that are specialized in seeking these type of mushrooms, when they consume them the leftovers are often gathered by wolves. Not only that, if they dig for a spot there is usually more around that same area. Females in comparison to males are bigger and more hostile. They are elemental as they are immune to the control of spirit wolves, other than that no other power as been discovered for this species. Spirit boars live in small groups of females, as males will only be present if they seek a mate, other than that males live solitary and tend to be hunted more often due to it.
