Bovidae - Cows, goats, etc
Delv Ihoo consist of several creatures beloning to the bovidae family. Many of these are part of Delvihen wolves their diet while some might be less likely to be hunted. They have always had a prey and hunter relation towards wolves so most species will avoid communication and encounters with Delvihen wolves. While some like the Rabok have become custom to nearby wolves others like the Gambok will make it a game to irritate a Delvihen wolf. In general most will prefer to keep a healthy space between them and the apex predator of Delv Ihoo. Being a food source to these wolves, they have developed thicker skin over the years, and drastically increased in size compared to their ancestors.

Creature:Earth bison / Class:Mammal / Power:None / Diet:Herbivore / Family:Bovidae / Lifespan:1-30 / Status:Common
Earth bisons originated from Chyu Mountains. They are large animals with good defenses due to their thick fur. Aside from that their physical strength is so high that one direct kick could crush Delvihen wolves their bones. They are no easy task to take down either as only earth wolves have been known to target them. They will form a defensive line and stand their ground not allowing wolves to attack them from behind. Herds are formed of females and always accompanied by small herds of males. During danger they will merge together. Male herds will follow the females as the eldest of female earth bisons leads the way. Female will only choose to reproduce in group so that calves are born together and so
|
can be protected and raised up together. Males will fight one another during this time to gain the rights of breeding. It is believed that a male that features the black mane, will easily gain rights as the color intimidates fellow males and attracts females. In contrast a female with black manes will result in males fighting to death in order to be with this specific female.

Creature:Gambok / Class:Mammal / Power:None / Diet:Herbivore / Family:Bovidae / Lifespan:1-40 / Status:Common
The gambok is among the most agile goat like creature when it comes to climbing mountains originating from Chyu mountains. They can climb the steepest of mountain walls, and despite their size their headbutt can easily knock over a Delvihen wolf if taken by surprise. These animals have a terrible reputation as they seem to make it their goal to annoy Delvihen wolves whenever given the opportunity. They are more cautious with earth wolves but still will do anything they can to pester wolves. This means a wolf that isn't paying attention could find themselves kicked of a mountain pass or onto the ground by one of these sneaky goats. Once a successful hit is landed they'll retreat only to scream at the
|
wolves to entertain themselves. Earth wolves especially cannot stand insults and will hunt them on sight. If a wolf fails to hunt them their attitude will only increase. They have resulted into the deaths of wolves before, mostly unaware wolves being headbutted of a Cliff side. There is said to be a rare variation among them. These are said to have a more golden coloration and smaller horns. It's said their horns and hooves are made of pure gold. Collectors will give up a lot to have any sort of remains of these. Their horns are often sold at the black market as some healers seem to grind them for medical use. Common gamboks are known to have blue eyes while these have golden yellow eyes.

Creature:Rabok / Class:Mammal / Power:None / Diet:Herbivore / Family:Bovidae / Lifespan:1-30 / Status:Common
Originating from Chyu mountains the Rabok is a rather clever animal. Interestingly, their kind evolved into two different variations this being "Brownpelt" and "Greypelt". The split in these happened due to several events leading to it. In the past they too were a common food source of Earth wolves, but their populations began to decline heavily not due to earth wolves but actually due to the Gambok. Gamboks are so focused on pestering wolves that the commotion they caused often led to both earth wolves and other predatory animals to find the small herds of raboks instead. Raboks are fast but not as fast and agile as gamboks, and being smaller, make an easier catch. Not only that but because of the
|
commotion gamboks caused they would often attempt to threaten or try and chase the gamboks away from their territory which resulted in fights. Gamboks being more agile often pushed the Raboks of causing bonebreak and eventual death. This lead to a huge herd of them abandoning Chyu mountains and even crossing "Seishi Mountains" what not many animals would dare to do. And so they ended up in "Hayyo mountains". While wind wolves and larger cats became the animals to hunt them down, their kind seemed to thrive there due to the many steep cliffs and rocky area's. No longer did other creatures give their location away and so they remained there. In time their pelt turned grey, and even some physical changes took place such as longer horns. But the brownpelt variation also made interesting changes. Realizing they had to adapt or perish they began to look for a strategy to counter the gamboks. Gamboks are notorious for targetting and killing lost earth pups. Because of this they began to send out warnings to unaware earth wolves that gamboks where nearby. Eventually cases of female Raboks shielding and protecting earth pups took place as well, as lost earth pups could be found sleeping under the female Rabok who hid them in her long belly fur. Because of this a mutual agreement began to rise as earth wolves and raboks began to co exist. Earth wolves would no longer hunt them in return for them alerting them and protecting potential lost pups. In time the brownpelt changed too as their smaller horns show their more friendly nature, as females gained more belly fur. Earth wolves don't only co-exist but they also seem to protect the raboks, it's not uncommon to see a herd hide within an earth pack if they have offspring. The brownpelt lives in small herds and pairbond, even if it means death they will protect their young. While the greypelt lives in a herd that consist of one male and several females. Greypelt tends to stand their ground while the brownpelt is docile. Raboks co-existing with earth wolves only takes place in Chyu mountain however with the largest earth pack. So they will always remain cautious around earth wolves that are unknown to them.

Creature:Conryx / Class:Mammal / Power:None / Diet:Herbivore / Family:Bovidae / Lifespan:1-60 / Status:Common
The conryx live in herds that exists out of a dominant female who will decide where to go and so leads the group. The group it's territory will usually overlap with that of males, this way when the time comes males will join the herd temporarily. For most of the year the males will live a solitary life. Their populations are known to be healthy and high in numbers as a herd can easily count up to 30 individuals. Because sand wolves prefer smaller prey they will generally not hunt these animals. Sand wolves are only known to hunt them when they expect pups. Therefore this species is only hunted by other predatory animals that naturally live in smaller groups and therefore need less food. The conryx comes
|
in two variations, one being standard conryx which has a thin coat and the other being known as the "maned conryx". There are some differences between the two, as the maned conryx is usually found near streams or oases while the standard conryx is found in the deeper parts of the desert. Other wolf species have been known to target maned conryxes. Because of this it is believed they grew taller in time and gained thicker coat in order to protect themselves from wolves. Unlike the standard conryx they do need water more frequently as well. They are slower but have more power. The coat of the maned conryx has both the function to keep cool in the day and warm in the night.

Creature:Bayagi / Class:Mammal / Power:None / Diet:Herbivore / Family:Bovidae / Lifespan:1-35 / Status:Common
The Bayagi is native to the Chaos Isle and are the preferred food of chaos wolves. While they are the better rock climbers, the food they prefer to eat usually grows within the meadow like pastures. Because of this, they will leave their natural environment within the mountains to graze. During these times wolves will be stalking them in attempt to hunt them down. If hunted on the mountains itself they are more tedious to deal with, as they will take the advantage to kick a wolf of the mountain and send it to it's death. Females live in groups while males live solitary. When females seek to breed males will impress them by challenging other males and ramming into each other. The winner will be chosen then.

Creature:Reiushi / Class:Mammal / Power:Elemental / Diet:Herbivore / Family:Bovidae / Lifespan:1-40 / Status:Common
Reiushi's are native to the Toreiki Mountains and can be seen grazing the planes, and wandering the forests and mountain area's. They are known to be kind by nature and will only scrape the floor with their hooves to give a warning if potential threaths are getting to close to the herd. They live in large herds of mostly females and few males. To impress females, males will headbutt and show of their power. If one of their herd is wounded they will all cuddle up towards this individual. It is said that they release low pulses of healing properties allowing one of their own to heal a lot faster. Psychic powers are useless against them as they are immune to it's confusing effects. To defend themselves from an
|
attack they will from a line and either stand ground if young are behind the line, or charge together if not. Psychic wolves have hunted them for food for many generations, even so they have to be careful for their damaging kicks. If a young Reiushi is killed a mother will often defend the carcass for hours mourning before finally stepping away and allowing the wolves to consume their prey. Kind by nature they understand that this is how nature works and therefore they have not been observed acting ill towards psychic pups whom got lost. Some have been known to nurture pups and guide them back to their pack. They also benefit however, psychic wolves treasure their habitat and will defend it at all cost. This is why strangers aren't even allowed to hunt on these lands. If hunted by different species they will make a lot more noise in order to attract psychic wolves.
