Felines
Delv Ihoo consists of several feline species. Ranging from large big cats to smaller ones. Consider very intelligent and usually elemental they comes in all sorts of shapes. Many of the larger felines are considered apex predators similar to Delvihen wolves. Wolves themselves believe that had the species been more social they could have had similar societies as wolves do today. In contrast to the wolves the majority of the feline species do not interact socially with different species of cats similar to their ancestors. Both canine and feline have clashed with one another before, as some larger cats will hunt down wolves as a source of competition or food. Other are so small that they can be seen as prey to wolves, for this reason the smaller species will always be wary and run away at the sight of a larger predator. Felines can be found on several area's over Delv Ihoo. In general both the larger felines and the Delvihen wolves prefer to avoid collission with one another.
Creature:Sabodon / Class:Mammal / Power:Elemental / Diet:Carnivore / Family:Feline / Lifespan:1-80 / Status:Rare
Sabodon is a large feline native to the Mudlands. They are big, have a lot of muscle and feature a thick coat which protects their body from attacks. When fighting their large fangs and sharp claws are mainly used. Sabodons are feared by the mud wolves. After all these cats will not make a difference between a herbivore for dinner or a wolf. An intense hatred between species is present as mud wolves will take the opportunity to hunt a Sabodon if wounded, or will kill a cub if they find one. In return Sabodons hunt down adult mud wolves but too will not spare a pup. In reality it are mud wolves who generally prefer to run away from these cats. They are completely immune against the mud element as their

coat seems to block mud allowing it to smoothly fall of. Aside from that they are said to release elemental pulses which allows them to run over muddy waters for a short period of time. Aside from that, similar to mud wolves they can also smoothly swim in mud without any issue. They have been notorious for hunting mud wolves that are of guard in the muddy hot springs. If they manage to bite one in the neck, the chances of survival are extremely low. They will suffocate their target and then drag it with. Sabodons do not live in packs and generally live a solitary life. But there does seem to be a pack mentality in some instances. Sometimes they will pair up in order to hunt, and other times it seems they have a sort of colony like mentality. As they will come together to hang out. This rarely happens, but it's believe that they do so to pass on information about Delvihen wolves. While they are not afraid of mud wolves, they are wary of different species. Therefore if a species enters the Mudlands, they will follow and observe them on a distance to see if attacking would be ideal or a bad idea. If they deem the species dangerous they will retreat. Sometimes hunters will enter the Mudlands in order to kill one or more so a cub. After all their remains can be used to gain this powerful beast as a summoning spirit. When a female seeks to have offspring she will call out for males, if she deems a male worthy she will allow the male to breed with her. She will fiercely guard her cubs and protect them when born. The male will actually remain nearby to protect the cub and female from different male Sabodons. After the cub is bigger the male will leave. Eventually the female will leave her cub as well when it has proven to be capable of hunting for itself. There have been some rare occasions where a female will not leave her cub. When she gives birth to a Sabodon who is born with albinism or leucism, the mother will refuse to abandon her cub for the fear that it will die of starvation. When this happens the cub will remain with the mother until she passes allowing the cub to learn from her for many years and so have a bigger chance at survival when he or she is all alone. Similar to this, it does occur that siblings stick together at times as well.

Creature:Neraion / Class:Mammal / Power:Elemental / Diet:Carnivore / Family:Feline / Lifespan:1-90 / Status:Common
Neraions are native to the Ice lands, and will never leave their natural habitat. They are large felines that live in large family groups. It is common knowledge that the largest society of Neraions is allied with the largest society of ice wolves within the Ice lands. Being intelligent, their kind quickly realized that ice wolves were not hostile and in most cases even afraid of them. But over time it became clear that the Neraions themselves are very easy going. They rather had peace than war. It all began when Neraions stumbled upon lost ice pups and brought them back to the ice wolves. Ever since this event took place, both groups became allied. Neraions will bring their cubs to ice wolves for protections when they

go out and hunt, while Neraions whom have among the best tracking skills, will bring back lost pups or share part of their hunt. Ice wolves too keep these cats up to date about what goes on in the main land with Delvihen wolves. Smaller groups of these large cats do exists on various locations, as is the same case with ice wolves. While not allied there, they generally are not hostile towards one another. Neraions have been said to be so peaceful that they will even lead strangers out of the Ice lands if lost. However they have grown wary over the years as hunters specifically are after them for the female gems that are present on her neck. These crystals are valued and treasured by collectors as is the gem on the male. It has also occurred that their pelts where sold with the lie that it belonged to the azure wolf. The Neraions do not trust outsiders anymore because of these events. Ice wolves face the same issue, so if one is hunted it isn't uncommon to see even stranger Neraions ally with Ice wolves. If given a chance they will kill strangers if they believe they might be hostile. These cats live in family groups and actually do pair bond. The dominant female will be seen as the queen while the dominant male will be seen as the king. Different males are tolerated as long as they are submissive towards the dominant male. They too can pair bond with a female. This is a very uncommon thing for felines and is said to be one of the only ones to pair bond. Females generally do all the hunting, while males are tasked to defend the family from incoming danger and guard the youngest of the family. They do a lot of grooming and socializing to improve relationships with one another. If there are no cubs males will generally hunt as well, same goes if the cubs are watched by ice wolves. They are elemental and are said to be able to control or cause blizzards while also being capable of releasing ice beams. Other than that they are extremely good trackers with perfect sight in stormy blizzard conditions.
