Chaos SpeciesThe Chaos species are amongst the most mysterious species on Delv Ihoo, living in isolation from the other species since their very existence. They live on a smaller Island, are unwelcoming to strangers who dared to cross, only allowing their own kind to stay. They follow a strict code, and because of this, are rarely seen anywhere else. They have a neural temperament where they don’t pick sides, keeping to their pack laws and social structure. Because of this, other species view them as controlling. Equally because

of the lack of knowledge concerning their species, most other species are unsure how to respond when they encounter one. They are the only species where symbolism isn’t visible unless their energy is activated. This means that most can only be told apart by different physical traits or eye colors. This gives them the upper hand as wolves such as "Chaos" commander of the Shadow Clans, can walk in without most wolves initually thinking he is that very commander.
Behaviour
Overall, Chaos wolves share a lot of similarities with their ancestors. A lot of their communication is done with sounds and body language, which makes them a rather silent species as they usually aren’t vocal or using speech. They are very territorial, not welcoming strangers to their land and will chase and even attack trespassers. As the rumors go, most wolves who dared to visit the island, never succeeded in returning back home. They don’t practice specific ranks such as merchants or assassins, as they don’t normally leave their lands. They are the one of the very few species that only has one pack/society. As all chaos wolves on the island belong to the same pack and therefore will follow the same lead pair of wolves. A Chaos wolf is said to only have one fear; being banned from their homeland. If this occurs, they can never return. Wolves who bred with a different species for instance will not only lose their rights to stay but equally cannot even take their offspring to their homeland.

Their society exists out of one family line that rules the pack, similar to the Light Wolves, they follow a king and queen. Wolves with symbolism is admired, and often gain more rights. Despite symbolism not being visible unless activated, wolves recognize their superiors by scent. Chaos wolves outside of their territory are usually seen as traitors. If a pup is born outside their society, it will not be accepted within the pack no matter if the parent was banished or not. Ranks can be denied as early as birth, as a dominant pup will have more rights than a pup that shows signs of submission. A wolf against the code and system within the pack, is a dead or banished wolf. While generally among themselves they are not known to be aggressive, they do have a slight fear for going against the system that has been going on on their island for generations. Even so some wolves also grew tired of this way of living, and purposely got of the island. It's not unheard of that water wolves seeking riches on this island would offer wolves a way to the mainland. Some however have been known to be so desperate to attempt to swim over, this sadly resulted often in deaths.
DietTheir diet consists mostly out of meat, and their preferred food is the Bayagi, a goat like mammal. They also favor the Kirinma, a horse-like being that’s considered the biggest and most rewarding challenge for this species. They have a venomous saliva, similar to that of a komodo dragon, that will weaken and and slow down their prey allowing for an easy kill. Chaos wolves are immune to this saliva. They have respect for what they hunt. If one of their pack-members dies, they will abandon the hunt, believing their prey won the right to live and deserve the victory. Aside from meat, they occasionally snack on green grapes growing plentiful within their territory.
ReproductionAfter a bonding process, the Chaos wolves will usually mate for life. They are sexual mature around the age of 18. Chaos wolves are expected to only seek a partner that has the same rank as them, or equally. The King and Queen will judge the pair, and can be denied if they see it as unmatching or unfit. Higher ranks have more rights to breed, as lower ranks have to earn that right by tasks given to them. After mating, the female will have a gestation period of 60-90 days before giving birth. The males are tasked full-time to provide for their partner during this time. Pups are born blind and deaf, an gain sight and hearing after a week. Their ears remain floppy for one week only.

Physical Appearance
Chaos wolves have a dark gray pelt with darker markings. These markings cover their entire head and neck and down their front legs, and runs down their back. They have a fully colored tail. Their fur is medium-long, and is longer on their neck and rump. Their cheek fur usually point upwards and they have a slightly scruffy muzzle. Their eyes also feature a visible limbus. Their front paws are quite unique, as the outer toes have much longer nails than their center toes. These long nails are useful to run on rocky ground and get a better grip. Their dewclaws also have much longer nails. Both their toes and dewclaw are far more flexible, and they will use their claws and even dewclaws to damage their prey or opponents. What makes them stand out is their symbolism, which is normally invisible and only shows when they activate their powers, making them all look very similar when they are unpowered. Activating their symbolism can be done at will, it's always present when they use elemental energy, but they can trigger them to appear as well without the cost of elemental energy. Markings remain visible. Markings and symbolism are always symmetrical.
- Males have a longer tail compared to females, as well as the fur around their neck and rump. Their main marking is also connected very visibly from their head to their front legs, and their stomach is marked as well.
- Females have shorter fur than males, with shorter fur on their neck and rump. They also lack the colored stomach marking. Their cheek fur can point up and down.

Mythical abilities
- Chaos blast: Chaos wolves can generate particles from their body, which they can manipulate and refer to as "chaotic energy". They will release this in burst blasting opponents away from themselves. This inflicts quite some damage but also helps to keep an opponent on a distance.
- Disorder: This move allows them to release a scent from their body. If inhaled it will cause slight confusion. This move does have a cool down as they need to wait for nearly a full day to re use this. The effects when the scent is spread last for several minutes, if inhaled up to 10 minutes.
- Elemental block: This move will focus their elemental energy on their front paws, a sign of this is that their nails will glow in chaotic energy. This is standard orange, if symbolized it can alter. If they succeed to hit the wolf it will temporarily block the opponents elemental energy for several minutes. Because it takes up a huge amount of elemental energy they do require to use it wisely and make a successful hit.
- Chaotic wave: Similar to "chaos blast" this move too will generate particles from their body, which they can manipulate and so release a wave of chaotic energy from their body. It's not as powerful as "chaos blast" but it needs less energy.
- Pinning claws: Pinning claws is a common move that is used to cause severe bleeding, the claws they normally use to climb up rocky terrain are now used towards opponents to cause stab wounds, their goal is simply, bleed the opponent until they can no longer proceed.
Abilities
- Slow heal: This ability allows chaos wolves to passively heal during a fight, while slow it can come in handy. Sometimes if a wolf is strong, other will work in pack to take down an individual. In this case by taking turns they will waste time allowing the chaos wolf his ability to continuously activate and heal. It also helps if the chaos wolf retreats and hides, allowing him or herself to heal and then strike again. As they will heal and recovered elemental energy at a much faster rate than other species.
- Chaotic manipulation: When used their mere presence can cause chaos to take place and affect all those nearby. This means not just wolves but even local wildlife nearby the chaos wolf in question be be affected. Rather than a scent they will release a chaotic wave from their body that affects those up to 10 meters away. Local wildlife can turn aggressive, wolves can turn on one another and so give the chaos wolf the advantage. Though it is to be used with caution, would they affect an animal that has potential to kill them it could turn deadly for the wolf using it. Equally it seems wolves with a strong willpower can break out of this trance.
- Venom resistance: While both the elements of poison and chaos are considered neutral towards one another, this ability grants some great benefits. Just like any other species chaos wolves can be affected by poison and it's effects, but their ability will cleanse the chaos wolf of this effect within minutes. This means that a poison wolf without this knowledge could potentially underestimate the chaos wolf in question not realizing that their venomous effects have worn of already.
- Oil boost: Within the hair sacks of their fur resides small oil pockets which they can release once a day. They do this for two reasons, the first being that it acts as a boost to their immunity but also results in a shiny and healthy pelt. Secondly it temporarily boosts their elemental defenses.
- Elemental Charge: If they succeed in causing chaos around, they will be capable of absorbing chaotic particles releases from this. This allows them to recharge their elemental energy. In order to take it in though, they require focus on to remain still, so during combat unless in pack this is not easy.
- Glaring sight: Focusing elemental energy around the eyes allows them to stare down opponents and temporarily lower their elemental defenses.
- Mindstop: This allows them to stop their target for several seconds, allowing them to strike. However, direct eye to eye contact is required for this to work. So one on one this is handy, but if the opponent is in pack it could be difficult as a fellow ally of set wolf could break the direct eye contact.
- Venomous saliva: When biting opponents their saliva is slightly venomous. It will drain the stamina of the opposing target and tire them giving them the opportunity to strike hard. Chaos wolves themselves are immune to this. It works most effectively on prey animals and Delvihen species with low elemental defenses.
Mythical abilities
- Chaotic liquids: Because chaos wolves live so isolated, most wolves of Delv Ihoo have little to no clue what their moves and abilities are all about, but this also leaves them clueless about their mythical ability. For most part this is what gives this species such a great advantage in combat but equally is why outsiders fear them. It is said that a chaos wolf dripping with liquids around the mouth is the last thing any wolf would want to encounter, as the ability is said to be a 100% lethal to Delvihen wolf species.
HabitatChaos wolves can generally only be found on “Chaos Isle”. As their kind lives in one society rules by a bloodline for generations. Wolves found outside of their natural habitat, are usually kicked out of their society, or born outside of it. They have always lived an isolated life as they do not seek for ways to cross to the mainland . They avoid contact with other species and do not welcome strangers to their lands. They have no real preference habitat wise, as they enjoy living on the plains as much as forests.

Dragon God Midarai
Very little is known about their Dragon God, Midarai. Because of their kind’s isolation, outsiders have never had the opportunity to learn or hear about their God. Even Psychic wolves wants to learn more about this dragon. Aside from that, only high ranking wolves get the chance to visit the dragon. |
