Strange creatures
Strange creatures roam the lands of Delv Ihoo as well. These are usually beings that wolves aren't to sure of what it is they are. In some cases wolves feel as if some of these beings are hybrids between different species but even then they cannot find proof or match the dna in question. Because of this Delvihen wolves categorized them into a separate category as "strange creatures". In most cases they have unusual appearances that cannot fully be explained.
Creature:Itachus / Class:Mammal / Power:None / Diet:Omnivore / Family:??? / Lifespan:1-30 / Status:Common
Itachus is an unusual creature that resides within the Poison Forest. They are quite common there and a favorite prey source to poison wolves. Delvihen wolves that study animals cannot make up their mind to what family this creature belongs to. The creature has the appearance of a smaller mammal with actual pelt, but also features an actual beak. They are mammals but simply have an unusual appearance. They live solitary and only come together to raise young. They have venomous saliva, and therefore will always defend themselves with a bite. They fear poison wolves the most, but are known to hunt small poison wolf pups, as in their eyes it is preventing an additional adult. They spend a lot of

time in the water and prefer to consume fish over anything else. They have webbed feet which allows for swift movement underwater. When spooked they will raise their fur as much as possible to look bigger and more intimidating, opening their mouth as wide as possible as it serves as a warning. Poison wolves might be immune to this but any other Delvihen wolf will get in a lot of trouble if bit. When bitten the side effects are known to cause breathing issues, forcing a wolf to stay down and still until the effect wears of, but this makes them vulnurable to anything else around.

Creature:Sohishi(wolf ripper) / Class:Unknown / Power:Elemental / Diet:Souls / Family:??? / Lifespan:1-3 / Status:Rare(Mythical)
The Sohishi is native to Seishi Mountains. They are a bizarre creature that till this day confused those who study the wildlife of Delv Ihoo. Even the ghost wolves native to the area, are still puzzled by this beast. It seems to have no gender, even so if it speaks it's voice can be masculine or feminine. They have never seen them reproduce and therefore have no clue how a new Sohishi is even born. Their visual appearance is unsettling to most wolves, and they have one large eye located within their mouth, front legs and a set of wings. Their face has eye shaped marking and an additional marking on the mouth which give the appearance that they have a larger mouth. Most concerning of all, they consume the souls of other creatures. Leaving behind the corpse of it's prey only to consume the soul itself. While originally a common species, ghost wolves quickly learned of their feeding habits and were heavily opposed to it. After all souls are sacred to them. Because of this they began to target this creature above most of their usual prey. Which resulted in the rare status they have now. But hunting them does not come without consequences. They are highly aggressive and even if they just fed they seem to always want more. Even if they odds are against them they will attempt to fight a while pack of wolves just for the chance to kill one. They have elemental power and so their wings and bites can deliver powerful blows. They can become transparant at will for several seconds as well. Ghost wolves learned their greatest weakness though. A heart of a Sohishi is not located in the chest but right behind the eye is where their life source beats. So targeting the eye is what the wolves will do. Tricking it to bite has been the most affectieve way to kill one. Aside from that, while they can ear due to ear holes they seem to have no nose at all. Still a lot of confusion remains present, as some Sohishi's will refuse to target a specific individual while other Sohishi's will. This left ghost wolves with more questions than answers to why one would avoid killing an individual and others would not care. Behavior wise they will fly around looking for prey, they are not pack animals so live individual lives. They do need to sleep quite often as their elemental energy does seem to run out fairly fast. With how rare they became ghost wolves felt relieved as their biggest fear was that these creatures would one day destroy the wildlife in this habitat. But their fears have not yet come to an end, as oddly with how rare they became a new variant seems to exist. Ghost wolves have not often seen it, and some Delvihen wolves even believe it's a made up story. But there seems to be a Sohishi variant that features more fur, a wolf like muzzle, an additional set of wings and different front legs. It is so rare that it is considered a mythical being.
