Designing your FC
General
- Must be harmonious! Avoid clashing colors and patterns (a lot of spots, stripes, and random designs).
- Gradients are allowed for additional markings and symbols but not the pelt. Gradients should not make a symbol/marking appear like a color that is unavailable on the chart. They should have a clear start and a clear end.
- The species should remain recognizable.
- Be sure to read over the species individual site page for details on their behavior, appearance, habits, and abilities. Their official DeviantArt sheets will serve as the guide for the color options (for making fc's). Normally there will be an announcement when the site page or chart is updated, but please check periodically to make sure you have the latest versions!
- For digital artists, be sure to download a full-quality version of the species reference sheet and use the eyedropper tool to pick the exact colors from the chart. For traditional artists, just try your best to keep the colors as accurate as you can! There’s only so much you can do with coloring utensils.

Pelt (+ color mutation)
(The base color and standard markings) - If the pelt is mutated, you may not mix-and-match with other mutated pelt bars! It should go as follows: As with As, Bs with Bs, etc. - You cannot mix the base color and standard marking colors around! Using the electric wolf as an example, the yellow base color cannot be the 3b color and the standard black markings cannot be the 2c color. - Mutated pelt mutation can impact the colors of the paw pads, nose, and inner ears. - If your wolf has a mutated pelt, they can have markings and symbols from the boxes you used. - Partial pelt mutations are when only part of the pelt is mutated. These cannot mix-and-match with the other mutated pelt bars. - No solid-colored wolves! Make sure the standard markings and base color are clearly visible from each other if you have a partial or full pelt mutation. - If wolves who both feature a different color mutation breed, they can have pups of both mutations, not mixed however. |
Standard Marking Size Guide
All standard markings can be extended (provided that the standard marking colors are available in the markings/symbols box). Standard markings cannot be perfectly covered (as in, just filling the standard markings in with a marking/symbol color). Certain sized standard markings can only be covered a certain amount:
- Large: Can only be partially covered - Medium: Can be almost entirely covered - Small: Can be completely covered.

Markings
Additional markings that range from small to large in size (ex. sock/sleeve-like markings, chest/stomach patches, etc.) They must be naturally shaped and flow with the fur (no perfect or intricate shapes). Tiny dots from off of larger markings can count as either small markings or symbols.
Symbols
Intricately/uniformly-shaped markings that range from small to medium in size (stripes, perfect shapes, dots, etc). They CANNOT be large! They can be naturally-shaped or look like small markings. (colored toes, tail tips, ears, eyebrow dots, etc.)

- Can affect the color of paw pads, nose, and inner ears.
- Markings can fully cover smaller standard markings such as socks and can almost fully cover medium-sized standard markings (ex. face mask on a metal wolf) but they cannot fully/almost entirely cover larger standard markings (ex. grey stripe on a shadow wolf).
- Markings can “extend” standard markings if the standard marking color is available in the markings box, but avoid adding too many markings on top of the extended markings and/or extend the standard markings so far that the base is almost entirely covered.
- Color-mutated markings can be present on wolves without a color-mutated pelt and regular-colored markings can be present on a wolf with a color-mutated pelt.
- You can have multiple markings with different colors, but avoid adding too many.

EyesEye color is usually inherited from their parents/grandparents. Species have a select palette for eye colors. But it is possible for a wolf to inherit mutated eye colors no matter if they feature symbolism or additional markings. As long as it was present in their family line.
- Sclera: The white of the eye. It is usually obscured by the wolves’ eyelids unless they are looking far to the side or are scared. Scleras of Delvihen wolves are white; blindness can cause the sclera to become red and bruising near the eye can cause the sclera to become black until the bruising heals. - Limbus: The ring around the iris. In most Delvihen wolf species, this is usually the same color as the iris, but chaos and shadow wolves have limbuses that are different colors than their irises which have their own separate color box. - Iris: The center of the eye. This is where the colors from the eye color boxes go. Pure white or black irises are not allowed unless a species chart features them in the eye boxes. Light and dark grey may be used from mutated symbols if a species chart allows it, but must be visibly grey, and not near-black/white. - Pupil: The dark circle in the center of the iris that dilates/contracts in response to light. In most Delvihen wolf species the pupil is black, but some species such as the ghost species are naturally born with light-colored pupils which have their own separate color box. - Heterochromia: Two different colored irises or irises with up to three different colors in them. You can use the available eye colors (or color mutated symbol colors if your wolf has color mutated symbols). More details on heterochromia here. - Blind Eyes: Can be dull/discolored versions of your wolf’s regular iris color or they could just have a light-colored pupil. |
Types of heterochromia
Full Heterochromia
The iris of one eye is a completely different color from the iris of the opposite eye.
The iris of one eye is a completely different color from the iris of the opposite eye.
Sectoral Heterochimia
One or both irises contain patches of a second color.
One or both irises contain patches of a second color.
Central Heterochromia
One or both pupils are surrounded by a ring of a different color.
One or both pupils are surrounded by a ring of a different color.
Mosaic Heterochromia
One or both irises contain patches of three colors.
One or both irises contain patches of three colors.
-Additional information
Cosmic/Ice
Cosmic males and all ice wolves have pupils that match the color of their irises. The pupil is only affected by Full Heterchromia. With Sectoral, Central, and Mosaic, the pupils remain the original color of the iris. Any rings or patches will not affect it.
Shadow/Chaos
Shadow and chaos already have a second color to their eye: the limbus, or the outer ring of the iris. All types of heterochromia will usually only affect the iris, but there can sometimes be exceptions. Full can potentially affect the limbus in one eye. Sectoral can sometimes cover up the limbus; however, when this happens, it is then considered Mosaic because of the odd effect it gives to the eye.
Ghost/Light
Ghost and Light have light-colored pupils. These remain unaffected by any form of heterochromia. The pupils should always remain one color.
Electric
If heterochromia is present, their horns will feature two different colors on each side. If more than one additional color is present (patches of an additional color), their horns will not feature this. Only one solid color will be present and it will be the main coloration present in the eyes.

Nose, pads and more...
Nose
- The nose color can be affected by markings, symbols, and the pelt being mutated.
- Noses can be mottled/spotted with another color on them (can be either symbol, marking, or pelt color). To avoid clashing colors, pick a darker/lighter tone of the main nose color or a color that compliments it.(ex. no bright red-and-green noses!)
- The nose color will change if your wolf has either leucism, albinism, or melanism.

(ex. no red-and-green paw pads!) - Paw pad toes can be different colors from each other. - Paw pads can have up to two different colors on them. - Paw pads can have intricate symbols on them. |
Blood chart
Depending on the species Delvihen wolves have different colors when it comes to their blood. Equally while only studied by psychic wolves, the Delvihen canines have different blood types as well. This differs from one individual to another. Psychic wolves have used blood donors before to safe lives.
|
Mutations (Leucism, Albinism, Melanism)
- All colors must come from the leucism/albinism/melanism color palettes respectively. You cannot mix-and-match with standard palette colors or with each other. (ex. no normal-colored symbols on a wolf with albinism or melanism colors on a wolf with albinism)
- While parents can carry multiple of these mutations, avoid situations of puppies with all three or two of the different mutations in one litter. It can happen that a parent featuring one of these mutations actually gives birth to another. This occurs if somewhere in their family line another mutation took place. |
Ancestral mutation (locked)
Ancestral wolves are extremely rare. A mutation causes a once dormant gene to activate, giving these wolves colors that were present in their ancestors. Because of this, most Delvihen wolves don't even believe this type of mutation exists. They are born infertile they cannot reproduce. They also have reduced elemental energy. This makes their elemental attacks much weaker in comparison to a regular wolf of their kin. Because of their weakened elemental energy their elemental defenses are weaker as well and will take more elemental damage even if their kind is well equipped against it. Not only do they deal with these issues, but some wolves will do anything in order to obtain such an individual. Some collectors will offer a lot in order to get their paws on a wolf with an ancestral mutation. In most cases, a wolf will first see this mutation on pelts that once belonged to the wolf rather than the wolf while it was still alive. If an ancestral mutation takes place, it is not uncommon for the mother to hide it in order to protect her young pup.

Miscellaneous Physical Traits & Aging
- Wolves should keep the physical characteristics of their species (ex. long tail and larger ears on a sand wolf) but can have slight differences such as a slightly longer tail than normal, but this should be minimal.
- As they age, wolves can gain signs of aging (eyebags, shaggier fur, scruffy chins, etc.). The older the wolf is, the more wrinkles and shaggier the fur they can have.
- Added scruffiness/detail in the fur should follow how the species’ fur flows and should not be incredibly long (short, seal-like fur on water wolves; very short fur on swamp wolves; elegant, wavy fur on light wolves, etc.).
- Hair tufts are allowed, but these should be minimal! They cannot have full-on hairstyles like the fire wolves from generation 1.
- Hermaprodite/Intersex wolves are possible. They can be born with additional markings to resemble the opposite sex, but they will only take the color palette/standard markings/physical characteristics of either an AMAB (assigned-male-at-birth) or AFAB (assigned-female-at-birth) wolf. Remember that they do resemble the known cases of dogs IRL, this means they generally cannot reproduce, and have underdeveloped reproductive organs.

- If your fc has more extreme(borderline) fur edits, they will be denied bg appearances for the series. Understand that this entire guide is focused on making "legit fc's". If you desire a more visible hair tuft, it will be allowed with the note that it will not be considered a legit fc. However just because this freedom is given, doesn't mean you can go overboard. Prominent hair tufts/extreme fur edits are still a no.
Size & Height
- Wolves should keep fairly close to the listed heights/weights of their species but can be slightly larger or smaller than average.
- Wolves can have dwarfism. They’ll usually be around the height/weight of a 9 to 12-year-old Delvihen wolf. (55 cm to 85 cm in height and 50 lbs to 120 lbs)

Miscellaneous Charms, Accessories, Prosthetics, Etc.
- Accessories and charms can range from small pelts, bones/skulls, and feathers to jewelry/piercings, satchels, and scarves. Certain species like forester wolves can make items like vine necklaces or flowers but, unlike charms, these can be permanently destroyed or wither away. (vines, plants will dry out or rot) More on charms here.
- Accessories should be worn in a way that a wolf could wear it and in a way that wouldn’t hinder a wolf (ex. large cloaks would be too difficult for a wolf to walk in without tripping). Psychic wolves are more easily able to put on wolf-made accessories with their ability to levitate objects. A wolf-made object must be convenient, as a wolf should not require assistance to put it on. Therefore, wolf-made items should always be basic. Certain items like satchels are always charm spells with the exception for psychic wolves. Other species that could potentially make satchels are forester wolves or spirit wolves (vine made). Earth/metal wolves will not make stone/metal satchels.
- Wolves can have paint designs on their fur from berry juice/blood/etc. The designs can only be patterns or symbols, not text.
- Complex items should always be "Charm spells". Wolves cannot naturally put on earrings, piercings, satchels,...
- No human-like items (baseball caps, goggles, hats, bows, ties, shoes, backpacks, masks etc.) or human-like weapons (swords, bow-and-arrow, guns, etc.). The only exception for this is if your wolf has an old “two-leg” (human) relic/item such as weapons or jewelry. These shouldn’t be modern-looking. The middle ages should be your guide for such relics. Understand that not all human relics would have remained in perfect condition. The first wolves enjoyed playing with relics of the past and did not preserve it. Sturdier relics survived in contrast to fragile ones.
- Avoid intricate accessories such as heavily detailed braids.
- Metal wolves’ metal can be used to create prosthetics with artificial veins for wolves. It can be simplistic like how it is depicted in the series or take the appearance of a canine’s muscle structure but the metal cannot appear robotic/mechanical. The metal has a very shiny, liquid-esque sheen. (example)
-Water wolves should have their traits match, ex lake wolf tropical fins with tropical tail.

Hybrids (Full guide click here)
-Hybrids cannot be made freely. The only way to gain one are through the Azure Store on Patreon or events on the Discord server!
- Can have a mix of colors, markings, stats, and physical characteristics from both parents or take attributes of mostly one parent.
- Their colors can ONLY come from their parents; they cannot take colors from the species charts that their parents don’t have.
- In rare cases a hybrid pup can inherit sex specific traits.(ex. a female electric hybrid could gain electric males’ horns)
- Can inherit abilities from either parent; cannot inherit abilities that allow them to control more than one element .(ex. fire/forester hybrid with the fire element inheriting Nature Manipulation is not possible.)
- Keep in mind how their species' behaviors or elements may clash. (ex. cosmic/fire wolf having to struggle with their species gentle vs. aggressive personality or a light/shadow wolf with the light element also inheriting Midnight Form, making their Midnight Form weaker at night and having halved power in the middle of the day)
- Combined traits/inherited abilities can also complement each other. (ex. water/electric hybrid with the Water element with the inherited ability to absorb electricity, removing the water element’s weakness to electricity)
- Hybrids can have unharmonious colors but should still have harmonic markings/symbols.
- Hybrids will have always have their designs checked and approved by the creator through Discord before they can be posted.
-Hybrids can only be purchased through the discord server as a patreon supporter or gained in an event or sale.(read rules there)
- Can have a mix of colors, markings, stats, and physical characteristics from both parents or take attributes of mostly one parent.
- Even Mix: Is very evidently a hybrid at first glance. They could have a mix of their parents standard markings, body types, share colors (pelt/markings/symbols) from both parents, and traits from both parents.
- More Like One Parent: Looks like only one species at first glance. They can only look like one of their parents and pass as a non-hybrid/pure-hybrid OR they could have the body, standard markings, and pelt of one of their parents but markings/symbols and traits like their other parent.
- Their colors can ONLY come from their parents; they cannot take colors from the species charts that their parents don’t have.

Important hybrid notes / Exceptions
- There are some exception when it comes to passing on traits/colors
-A one winged wolf can occur if the hybrid is a chimera.
- The royal traits (light species) do not pass on to hybrids. They are only found in female light wolves of royal blood lines.
- Hybrids can inherit more than one ability. However, keep balance in mind, especially if the species are opposites (fire vs. water).
- If two hybrids breed, their offspring will only gain traits of their parents' respective element.
(ex. Say you have two wolves. One is a mud/ice hybrid with the ice element and the other is a metal/earth hybrid with the earth element. If these two wolves were to breed, the pups would only take on the ice and earth characteristics from their parents. Any metal or mud features their parents had (colors, markings, symbols, traits, abilities etc.) will NOT be passed onto them, even if their parent looked more like a metal or mud wolf.)
- A hybrid’s element is determined by which element is most dominant (a fire/water pairing is more likely to have pups with the water element rather than the fire element). Pairings with neutral elements (not listed as having an advantage/disadvantage over the other), however, have a 50-50 chance of producing pups with either element.
- If a hybrid breeds with another wolf that has the same element as them, the offspring will always be a pure hybrid (ex. a fire/water hybrid w/ fire element and a fire wolf would have pure hybrid fire pups)
- Endangered species usually result in pure hybrids rather than mixed. Believed to be an evolutionary system by their dragon gods, this would be a last resort to prevent the extinction of a species. If a species is low in numbers, pure hybrids will usually be the result. Even if the breeding takes place between opposite elements. (spirit wolves are endangered, so if a breeding pair consists of a spirit wolf and a shadow wolf, there is a 90% chance the pups would be pure hybrid spirit wolves, even if shadow is the dominant element)
- There are some exception when it comes to passing on traits/colors
- When it comes to the swamp, wind, and water species(when female) - specific traits do not pass on to the hybrid child(if male). All three species have their own unique reproduction system which can only be passed on to their offspring under the following conditions: the mother must be wind/swamp/water, the child must be biologically female, and the child must inherit the element of the mother. Biological males cannot inherit any of these methods of reproduction, including swamp.
- If a female hybrids with the reproductive system of a Swamp(egg, they can reproduce naturally too), Wind and Water wolf give birth to pups as eggs, the pups will generally never survive. This is because the method of being born differs to much from how another species is naturally born. (ex. Shadow x Water, pups is of the shadow element and not naturally born as an egg), pups require the correct element) The only exception being hybrids born from a female water(shallow) wolf, if they have the gills they too can survive.
- For Blood Hybrids to be able to occur, the pup must be of mixed diet if the mother is not of Blood element and the pup is of Blood element. A mixed diet is required for their survival. If a pup is leaning more towards a Blood diet, but the mother is not a Blood wolf, survival is zero as the pup will tear itself out due to their requirements not being met. Even if the mother is of a different species and eats animals native to the Nakraa mountains, this is not enough and the mother would become sick by only eating Nakraa animals.
-A one winged wolf can occur if the hybrid is a chimera.

- Albinism, melanism, and leucism can be inherited by hybrids but they will only express one of these mutations at once. (ex. If one parent has albinism and the other has melanism, the child can only have either melanism or albinism colors, NOT both)
- If one parent has albinism/melanism/leucism and the other has a regular pelt, the colors CANNOT mix and match.
- If one parent has albinism/melanism/leucism and their child does not inherit one of those mutations, they will instead have default colors. This is the ONLY exception where a child can inherit colors not present on the parent.
- Albinism/Leucism and Melanism only rarely occur and can only be gained with the rare ALM fusion trait.
Updating your existing hybrid
-While regular fan characters can be changed, edited and modified as much as you want, Hybrids cannot be changed as much as one want. There are limitations and rules to follow if one wishes to update or change the design. You can only update your hybrid once, but there are some modifications that can be made without it counting as an ‘update’. This is to prevent abuse and people being able to change their hybrids multiple times, and to prevent too many reposts. Below are a list of rules and what counts and doesn’t count as an Update
What can be edited or cause for a repost (within reason)
What will count as an update
-Design change counts for; Recolor, changing/removing/adding a marking or symbol. This can be a complete redesign, or a smaller change, however, the lineart cannot be edited or changed (unless there was an error on the original)
What can be edited or cause for a repost (within reason)
- A legitimate error on the reference (miscolors, errors, etc)
- Text on the post (Abilities can be either added or removed, but cannot completely change all-together. You can remove existing abilities, or add another ability (max:3)
- Element (Elements can be swapped once)
- Small ref being updated to the bigger ref (only counts for original Hybrids that was posted before the new refs were available)
What will count as an update
- Design change*
- Adding or removing a color, eye color, marking or symbol
-Design change counts for; Recolor, changing/removing/adding a marking or symbol. This can be a complete redesign, or a smaller change, however, the lineart cannot be edited or changed (unless there was an error on the original)
Pure Hybrids
- Will only take the colors, stats, and physical characteristics of one parent’s species. They have access to any of the colors from their species’ chart.
- Can gain markings similar to their other parent’s standard markings, but these should be small/medium-sized markings.
- Can inherit 1 ability from either parent; cannot inherit abilities that allow them to control more than one element or that depends on a visual aspect of the species (ex. Fireproof requires fire pelt). The following can be inherited: "Click here"
- Inherited abilities can be mutated, this means that they inherit an ability that looks or seems the same, but differs. (ex. Fire wolf has a mother that is an ice wolf, rather than gaining ice sight they gained the ability to see through smoke "smoke sight")
- If a pure hybrid breeds, they will not pass on their inherited ability unless the ability is mutated.
- Pure hybrids are unlikely to be born infertile.
- For pure Blood hybrids there are also restrictions. They must have the element of the mother, no matter what species or combination. If a female Shadow and a male Blood has pups, the pups must all be Shadow element, otherwise they will kill the mother and not survive.
Chimeras
On rare occasions, it is possible for two embryos to become fused, resulting in a pup with a strange pelt. Patches of a completely different pelt color may form, and one half of the body may even appear completely different from the other.
- Offspring of two wolves of the same species who are of different variants will not produce chimeras (ex. shallow water/coral water would not have patches of shallow and coral coloring; the variation is determined by where the eggs are laid)
- Patches of color are medium to large, covering a decent portion of the pelt. A single, tiny spot for example would not be acceptable for a chimeric design.
- Offspring of same-species pairings will result in coloration limited to the sex of the pup. Color mutations may be present if they existed somewhere in the family line. (ex. grandmother has a color-mutation, but the mother did not. She would have had two daughters, one with a color mutation like the grandmother, and one without. But both were fused in-utero and resulted in a single, chimeric daughter with patches of a color mutation)
- Occasionally, hybrid pups may be born with patches of two distinct pelt colorations, rather than an evenly mixed appearance. They can be the coloration of the same sex, or both sexes. They do not appear “evenly mixed” like regular hybrids do, and will often look quite crazy.
- Hybrid chimeras can gain symbols from either or both parents. Extra markings may also be gained from the parents, as long as they remain a minority compared to the chimeric patches.
- Heterochromia is far more likely to occur in chimeras.
- Albino/melanistic/leucistic chimeras are extremely rare.
Hybrids - Crazy Pelts
It is not uncommon for hybrid pups to feature some very unique pelts. Taking colors from the parents, the result is not always something that would be considered harmonic in the slightest. It can be a result of chimerism, or even just be a crazy mix of the parents’ colors. These hybrids tend to live shorter lifespans due to the fact they are not able to blend in well to their environments, and may even be the target of more sinister collectors.

Summoning spirits
Earthly Summonings
- Can only be animals that exist on Delv Ihoo or real-life wild animals (no species bred by humans like domestic dogs/cats or mythical Delvihen beings). Extinct animals are also allowed, but no dinosaurs until a list of them is created. Natural animal hybrids such as coywolves are allowed as summonings, but no hybrids caused by human intervention.
- Will always resemble their master; they will not take markings/colors from the other sex. (ex. If their master is an AMAB [assigned-male-at-birth] light wolf, the summoning will have a yellow base and white markings, not the white base and yellow markings females have, even if the summoning identifies as female)
- Summonings can cause their master to have slight physical and behavioral changes and additional abilities. Physical changes should be minimal. (ex. If a wolf had a spotted hyena as a summoning, the wolf may have a bit of spiky fur on their spine and head, have the ability to make a wider range of hyena-like sounds, and have higher stamina than normal. They will NOT gain a full mane or build of the spotted Hyena for example)
- If the summoning is based of a regular animal their abilities will be regular, meaning a lion based summoning will not have magical power based abilities. If the animal is a Delvihen species of animal that "has" magical abilities then this can be seen in the summoning too.
-They fully resemble the animal they are on a physical lvl(physical traits, the only exception being for color)
-(This is a locked ability) One unique ability can be found in them as well, but only in Delvihen based species that become summoning spirits. This being fuse. Where both master and summoning can fuse with one another, while the body will be a mixed result, they will generally not increase in size. When they do increase in size it's considers extremely rare.

Demonic Summonings
- Demonic spirits cannot be obtained or made. They are a Patreon shop exclusive.
- Can be various creatures: mythical, hybrids, standard and non-existent creatures. Demons come in all sorts of forms, even so the realm of Relaytra does have groups of species and creatures. A list for these will be available in the future. But not existing mythical Delvihen beings.
- Will always resemble their master; they will not take markings/colors from the other sex. It is possible that they feature smaller markings with colors of the same spectrum as the ones they gained, but that differ from their master.
- Will always have a sort of horn on their body. May it be spikes, horns, they will always feature it even if it's small.
- They will always be weak to light, even if their masters element is light.
- They will have two elements, one by default is shadow/darkness the other is partly that of their master. Meaning that if their master is a water wolf they will obtain this element too, but it will be a lot weaker in contrast to their master.
- Demonic Summonings too can cause their master to have slight physical and behavioral changes and additional abilities. Physical changes should be minimal. (Ex. wolves will not gain the horns of their demonic spirit, but could gain slit pupils)
- Demonic spirits are in almost all cases not loyal to their masters. They can and will ignore orders, often even turning against them.
Heavenly Summonings
- Heavenly spirits cannot be obtained or made. They are a patreon shop exclusive.
- Can be various creatures: Mythical, hybrids, standard and non existent creatures. Heavenly spirits come in all sorts of forms, even so the realm of Sylglia does have groups of species and creatures. A list for these will be available in the future. Except mythical Delvihen beings.
- They will not resemble their master; they will always come in white/golden colors.
- They can have horns/antlers if they are natural (unicorn, cows, deer), but they will not have spikes or huge claws. They instead wear charms or have more elegant traits
- They will always be weak to shadow, even if their masters element is shadow.
- They will have two elements, one by default is light the other is that of their master.
- Heavenly Summonings too can cause their master to have slight physical and behavioral changes and additional abilities. Physical changes should be minimal. (ex. If a heavenly spirit comes with wings, the wolf will not gain these)
- Heavenly spirits are extremely loyal to their masters. They can ignore orders if they want to.

- Common traits: horns, sharp claws/fangs, bone structures, gemstones(accessoires), glowing eyes, depending on what creature they can be quite large.
- Rare traits: wings, two-three heads, split tail, active fire (constant presence of fire Ex. burning horns), paw print trails , Beast shift, multiple tails
- Legendary trait: Skull shift (not obtainable as it is linked to one specific species of demon), Demonic sight (This allows for wolves to teleport from one area to another, blood has to come from the summoner as the demonic circle itself will form below them, the cool down is 24 hours), fuse (This ability allows for a fuse between the summoning master and their summoning spirit. This will lead to a mix between both bodies. It drains a lot of elemental energy and will cancel if the summoning master is out of this energy. When fused the summoner can increase in size.)

- Rare traits: multiple tails, flowing mane/hair, bird shifter (can shift to a small bird), flowing ribbons, glowing eyes, Levitate
- Legendary trait: Invincibility (This causes an elemental barrier which nothing can easily pierce for up to 10 seconds. When used it does have a cool down of about an hour), fuse (This ability allows for a fuse between the summoning master and their summoning spirit. This will lead to a mix between both bodies. Miscellaneous
Submitting Characters for Background Appearances / Figurant Roles
- MUST be harmonic / should be fully checked on the discord server.
- Must be animation friendly. (no complex symbols, mottled noses/paw pads, complex accessories, floating shapes like dots, etc.)
- Fur edits MUST be minimal (no drastic changes to the flow of the fur). If they are included, the fur edits will be minimized or entirely removed
- If there are specific requests for designs (ex. must be female, no color mutation, etc.) they are to be followed or your submissions will be ignored
-If chosen what happens to them how they behave is not up to you!

Stats
- Your wolf can have slightly better/worse stats from other wolves in their species but avoid straying too far from the species’ base stats. (ex. no super fast earth wolves)
Unique Abilities
- No god-like abilities (ex. immortality, sprouting limbs/wings, shapeshifting, etc.)
- No abilities to counter weaknesses unless it is an aspect of that species or if we are talking about a hybrid. (ex. swamp can be resistant to fire but also weak to it depending on their accessibility to water / water hybrid could gain "absorb" making it immune to electricity)
- No abilities to bend the rules. (ex. an ability to alter their coloration to a color not available on the chart)
Story Elements
- You may loosely use story elements for your characters’ backstories. (ex. having a wolf that is part of the Dyelaq Clans who knows/has interacted with an official character such as Kanashi). You could say that your Dyelaq Clan wolf respects Kanashi or had orders from Kareny, but avoid heavy focus on official characters’ involvement to avoid misrepresenting the characters.
- You cannot have a wolf that is a relative of an official character. (ex. create a sibling for Chaos)
- You may have a mated pair that are of different species (ex. a forester wolf and an earth wolf), and they may even adopt a pup, or produce pups of their own. However, mixed pairings cannot produce mixed hybrids(as they are not free options).
- Do not have wolves in relationships that are between an underage and older character. Small age gaps are fine (ex. 17-year-old and 19-year-old) but nothing that would be considered predatory. (ex. 10-year-old and an 18+ year-old)
- Wolves’ personality and behavior can divert from the general demeanor of their species.
- You can loosely base your wolves on IRL people but do not replicate their entire family history, personality, life, etc. Respect your inspiration source’s privacy.
Ownership
- You cannot fully claim a fan character; properly credit the species and the AzureHowl: Reborn series to AzureHowlShilach.
- Do not copy or heavily reference the designs of official AHR characters or AHR fan characters made by other people. Taking light inspiration is fine, but directly copying is not.
- You may commission art of AzureHowl: Reborn fan characters from other artists.
- You may commission art involving official AHR characters, but by doing so it will be treated as fan art, meaning i'll have the right to use this artwork, as it features my characters. This can be in the matter of presenting it on the site and so on.
- You may NOT make adoptables or sell AzureHowl: Reborn designs. They may, however, be traded or given away to people aware of the series and part of the discord server. If you have obtained a hybrid design, you cannot give it away without permission.
-You can offer AHR designs(hybrid/regular) up for sale, but only for the current patreon currency(azure stones). This also means that offering designs AHR related for sale, is Patreon exclusive only(azure stone currency/patreon required). For Patreon supporters, this should be cm based, meaning you offer your services and in return for stones make set design. Do not start making adoptable charts etc.
- Hybrids/Ancestrals locked slots etc cannot be made and given away freely to people this is restricted.
Locked FC designs and types (Rare Symbols, Ancestral, Hybrids or Royals) cannot be posted/shared without permission except for privately or having the design checked. They are locked for a reason and should not be made without intent of purchasing the slot
